Sure, there have been a handful of times that I’ve happened upon an article on FOX News that made me feel downright murderous, but I’ve always believed that informing oneself was a good thing. Reading isn’t a gateway drug. Just because a kid wants to read books instead of eat candy on Easter doesn’t mean he’s a biography away from exalting Mein Kampf. I’m not saying people who post about their kids wanting books for Easter aren’t bragging - maybe they are - but Heather is the one who strikes me as being a little unhinged here. Last time I checked, reading didn’t lead to shooting rampages.
